Reviews of Kennett Square Creamery
"this place used to be neat when it first opened, but now it’s an overpriced, boozy daycare. Be prepared to dodge flocks of screaming children. Also, if I'm paying $7-10 for a beer, I’d love to drink it out of a glass instead of a tiny plastic cup. Anyways, I’d recommend checking out Braeloch down the street instead."
"We rented The Farm Table Room at this location for a bridal shower in January 2024. When we inquired about the space, I specifically asked the event manager if the room would be comfortable, since it was a winter event. I was assured it would be. However, the room was freezing, and most guests did not take off their jackets. The Farm Table Room is billed to fit up to 45, but it does not. At 45, we were crammed. While we were offered some space outside the room to accommodate, it was even more cold outside of the room. We were not told until a few days prior to the event that the outdoor bar was not open. Guests had to trudge through rain and sleet to get a drink. Our food was removed at the end of the event with no option given to take food home, despite spending over $3k for our event. Event staff was hard to track down during the planning phase, and didn't even check in at the end of the event. I do not recommend this space at all for events!"
"HUGE Disappointment With all of the hype, we had big expectations visiting for the first time. Unfortunately, it was not worth the trip to Kennett Square. Food: Most, if not all of the food, is FROZEN (not fresh). I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich for $13 and it was basically a McChicken sandwich. You could tell they flash fried it from frozen and threw it on a brioche bun. Food came out too fast for it not to be frozen. Service: no wait staff so be prepared to order your own food and bus your own table AND STILL BE EXPECTED TO TIP! Also, it appeared the entire restaurant was being managed by teenagers. Not an adult in sight. Atmosphere: blah. Some charming appeal but it’s like they’ve given up. Outside, no wood fire places going. Inside, they were playing a muted USA channel. No one checking on you. All hype, no fresh food, and no authenticity. Very disappointed."
"This is the best burger I have had anywhere in the country. So good!! Juicy, tender, flavorful, cooked to perfection. Previously my favorite burger was a restaurant in Vegas — thrilled to find this gem in my own back yard."
"Wow!! What a great space to relax with your family, friends or just the two of you. Accessing food and drinks was a breeze. I’d love to be there when there’s live music. Flatbread was delicious, tacos were somewhat light in the protein but tasty, wings were a bit too messy and I like mine well done but I probably could have asked. Let’s see varieties of Mac&Cheese on the menu! Overall great place to go. We’ll be back!"
