"Been here about three times when I’m in town visiting. Each time we’ve tried the tacos which are pretty consistent. This time tried the Rueben, chicken parm and a salad. Not sure if the chef has changed but it was certainly a bust given the high prices vs the quality of food. The rueben and fries tasted like a box of salt was poured in it, the chicken Parm had an over fried piece of chicken breast sitting on top of a bunch of tasteless penne pasta. I thought who could go wrong with just a grilled chicken salad with cranberries, walnuts and cheese. Well, that was also horrible. The chicken was so dry and chewy I had to stop eating it. As expected the pork tacos were still a hit. The folks here couldn’t be nicer, but I can’t believe how much you’re charging for the quality food of food you are serving. People work hard for their money and when paying these prices, they expect better."
"What a wonderful find. We are so glad we found this restaurant. It's cozy and the staff is friendly. There was live music. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. We had the French onion soup, cream of crab bisque soup, crab cake sandwich and the fish and chips. Also had the pinot noir wine. Our waitress was Joyce. She was so warm and friendly. Also great service. Will be sure to return when we are passing this way again."
"Look here's the deal, I've been a busboy, food expo, worked a to-go counter, line chef for years, etc (Macaroni Grill, Bertuccis, Iron Hill Brewery, Cucina d'Napoli, etc...).....I know the food quality you are serving.....I love supporting local... especially since you re-opened around the pandemic.....and I understand you need to have a mark up to make a profit and be successful, but your mark-up is obscene. A) you shouldn't have pork and chicken sandwiches that are the same price as pasta entees, B) If you want to charge $18 for crabBY pretzels, charge $18 for crabBY pretzels when it has a generous portion of crab meat on it, not crab seasoning on top of a bunch of cream cheese....that's a disgrace. It's like you call it Crabby pretzels as if to say you never said it actually had crab meat on it, it just tastes crabby, hence the name. You can go to Acme and get one can of lump crab meat for a few bucks. Based on your prices, you should be making a MINT....and if you aren't, your cost is too high and you are doing something wrong...OR you are trying to recover from the pandemic, which is fine, but once you do, lower your prices.. basically everything should be at least $3 cheaper on avg more or less. The best day to come is for half price burgers on a Weds.....which is still just burger and bun...nothing else on it. thing is...ppl pack this place...I like to think it's for Ms Joyce....or maybe they just come for drinks and the Stevie Ray Vaughan guitarist (who is great). I don't need a response since you guys check these...just pay attention. Listen. Right now brussel sprouts are the best thing you serve and that shouldn't be the case. Chicken and pulled pork sandwiches should be no more than $11-$13 if it's awesome. Crabby pretzels, if you want to charge $18, FINE but put a can of crab meat on it, charge the same price, burgers...what you serve.....$8 tops, 8 wings? $12 tops is on par with other places...2 pieces of quesadillas or 3....$10-$12 tops. It's almost a taco shell folded over vs a burrito shell...it's small. Also.. nuisance of the night, If I added chicken...i would have ordered $21 nachos.....that's rediculous. Nachos with this potato-esque gravy on it that is too salty...not actually cheesy (maybe that's just the flavor it had tonight) with a few diced tomatoes on it? Big fan of Ms. Joyce tho. As a place to go get drinks though?! This place is fine..go get some beers or cocktails..they have good drinks and craft beer."
