Toba Asian Fusion

"We love trying new sushi places and we hadn't had the opportunity to to try this place yet. We stopped in on a Saturday night. We were able to get a seat without a problem. The restaurant has a spacious and inviting interior. Our server arrived quickly and was efficient. The food came out very quickly for a sushi place. Everything was excellent from the steamed dumplings to each of the rolls that we tried. We certainly plan to return!"

"The ambiance at Toba is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The menu is well-curated, offering a delightful dining experience. The dishes, including the chicken curry and duck that we ordered, were delicious and presented with creative flair. The only thing I’d wish for is a wider non alcoholic beverage variety. The prices are reasonable, making it a definite go-to whenever I'm in the area."

"Toba is a place we discovered in Middletown DE. We are originally from Brooklyn NY. Very hard to find good places around here. Well we discovered Toba. I'm a chef & highly recommend anything. I've tried from eel avocado rolls to their specialty rolls & the Hibachi Chicken dish is incredible. Highly recommended!"

"Experience was wonderful. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Food was delicious. Only complaint was my hot and sour soup was way too thick, way too much starch. Other than that, everything was very good. Update : 2023-04-08 We went back with a party of 20. They gave us a private room. Our waitress said it was her first day. She did great and served with a smile the whole time. Food was great as it was. I ordered the Chirashi bowl but unexpectedly it came out like a platter and it was excellent. All other food was great too, according to others."

"I first accidently order from here using doordash and it was such a wonderful mistake! Everything was packaged well and the food was fresh! I loved everything except the scallops they were tough and small. BUT when I ate at the restaurant it was such a wonderful experience and the food tasted amazingly great! Everything was hot and fresh! I got the general tso chicken and my husband got the surf and turf. My general chicken was a little too bready but still good. The servers were very attentive and polite! Will definitely visit again and try more meals at home and in person!"
