"Authentic and delicious bbq. Best pasta salad I’ve ever had! When we saw pit bbq we knew we had to stop here for late lunch and were not disappointed! First of all, the guys here work hard and are the nicest and most welcoming. And then the food is quality, great portions and lip-smacking good. Sad but not surprised they were sold out of brisket so we got some awesome pulled pork. Juicy, not too smoky. I loved the coleslaw and sauce on the slider sandwich. The mac n cheese had a nice sharp cheese flavor and was not dry. The pasta salad!! Perfectly cooked tri color pasta that just soaks up the vinegary Italian dressing and pairs perfectly with the cherry tomatoes and cucumbers. Really hit the spot on a hot day. We will definitely be back to visit!"

"Pretty good barbecue and fantastic service. Was a little bummed they were out of some sides, but given the crowd I'm sure goes there, I'm not surprised. The smokin spud is freaking huge! Worth the drive for sure."

"My food was delicious this was the first time i tried it and trust me you just earned a regular cause i will be back , actually tomorrow. The wings beans and Mac were cooked to perfection and my food came out blazing hot, you can tell it’s cooked fresh daily. The man who helped me out was very nice and friendly as well thank you sir . I’ll take that 20 minute drive on my lunch break without a doubt lol."

"Incredible hidden gem, best barbecue in Delaware. We got the lunch tray specials, one meat, two sides. The perfect amount of food, great price. Both the pork and the chicken were cooked perfectly and the sides are something else. My boyfriend can’t stop talking about the baked beans and I’m still thinking about those collards. We’ll be back!"

"My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our way back to NY from MD. CJ was so friendly and helpful. We had the Brisket and Chopped Chicken sandwiches, which were smoky and well seasoned. The mac and cheese was absolutely divine. I loved the collard greens, and my husband really enjoyed the baked beans. This place is so good, we plan to visit again as an extra stop on future road trips. EAT HERE!"
