"I wanted both color and a Brazilian blow-out and had the best service and color with Lexie in early June. It is now the end of July and the straightening is still working great - even with all this humidity. I had never had color and straightening at the same time and Lexie explained it actually works better to have color done and then the straightening. I was a bit apprehensive, but it worked so well. In the past I was always advised to wait 2 weeks after straightening to color but the straightening lightened my hair and turned it really brassy and it looked awful for 2 weeks! Not this time. My color lasted longer, the tone was richer and it didn't turn brassy at all. Lexie really did an amazing job and I am so pleased with the results. I found the perfect salon and stylist!"

"I had my wedding reception at Tidewater Inn and we used Studio 2 Salon for hair and makeup for myself, my mom, mother in law and 7 bridesmaids. Ashley, Lexi and April were the ladies that worked on all of our hair and make up and they did an incredible job! I was able to go in the day before and get hair extensions by Ashley. Ashley in particular was amazing! She was so flexible with me changing up the hair style I wanted and made it look perfect and April did my lashes. I know my girls were all happy with their hair and make up. We took over the whole salon and were able to bring in a lite breakfast. It was relaxing and we all had so much fun!! Can't recommend these ladies enough! Tunie, the manager, was also so friendly and so willing to make sure we had the best experience!"

"Studio Two was absolutely perfect. I got married at the Tidewater Inn and we used Studio Two for hair and makeup for the bridal party and the mothers. Tunie and the staff were fantastic from start to finish. On the day of my hair and makeup trial, the Bay Bridge was literally CLOSED DOWN due to a major accident. Studio Two was able to get me rescheduled at the last second for another day. They were super accommodating to my entire party the morning of my wedding, and were incredibly flexible when some girls changed their minds about getting makeup done. My mom was incredibly nervous about having her hair and makeup professionally done after a less-than-stellar experience with another stylist at another salon, but Studio Two took care of her and she ended up loving her look. My bridal party basically took over the salon the morning of - we had the entire place to ourselves and we were able to just relax and enjoy some breakfast and champagne while getting ready. Chrissy was my personal hair and makeup savant - my trial with her went super smoothly, and she managed to incorporate some minor tweaks into the actual day-of look. She was able to get my fine, straight hair into the perfect bridal updo that stayed put perfectly. I have oily skin and my makeup didn’t move until I took it off at the end of the night. Working with the Studio Two team was such a pleasant experience all around!"

"At 29, I somehow still hadn't found a hair stylist I liked enough to see more than a couple of times. That stopped the first time I had Kate McGuire cut and color my hair at Studio 2. She knows how to work with my fine hair and gets the color just right every time. She also styled my hair and did my makeup my wedding and was very patient with me as I struggled to figure out the perfect up-do. We tried a couple of different things before settling on a loose and laid back style that she nailed on my wedding day. It was gorgeous. Everyone at Studio 2 is wonderful—so sweet and fun and accommodating. I highly recommend for hair, makeup and waxing—can't speak for their other services, but I'm sure they excel at those too."
