Rite Aid 10119 Old Ocean City Boulevard, Berlin, MD 21811

"When I first went to Rite Àid in Berlin Md., the staff was excellent and friendly. Now my opinion hàs changed so drastically it's amazing. I now understand why The Rite Aids are closing one after another, maybe not so much Bankruptcy!. The pharmacist (an older Indian man) is Rude and doesn't have an ounce of empathy for anyone. This man complains to the customer's about how busy he is and judges people on what kind of medication they're taken. Over waited days for medication that should not be stopped abruptly. I've never in 6+ decades seen or heard anything like it. I know approx a dozen people that have changed pharmacies. I am being very kind describing the staff and pharmacist. He has taught his staff well, the young African American girl would not allow anyone pick you medication at all. My neighbor was a nurse and they would not allow her to pick up my medication. Rite Aîd please correct this, us older folks don't have transportation to get somewhere else. PLEASE HELP!!!"

"Just called there to ask for medication n guy picked my call. My Lord, he was Very very rude. Some people r not just for customer service. May b rite aid need to put him at the back of the house and let him clean toilet, sweep n mop floor. Take office trash n clean windows like that."

"I understand that pharmacies have been understaffed recently, however it should not take 11 days to get a prescription transferred to a different pharmacy. I called on Monday 11/27 to get the prescription transferred and was told by this pharmacy that they could not do it and that I had to call my doctor. My doctors office said they could not transfer it either and that the pharmacy had to do it. I then asked my new pharmacy to give this pharmacy a call to transfer the prescription and this pharmacy did not answer or call them back. This is completely unacceptable. I should not have to jump through 15 hoops just to get a birth control prescription transferred to a new pharmacy. The pharmacist was very rude when I spoke to him on the phone and made it seem like this was my fault. Do better."

"Dave in the pharmacy and his staff are doing a fantastic job and I just wanted to take a second to recognize them. Good job!"

"This place is ridiculous. As much as I would like to tell you the whole story, it isn't worth it. I will say, they seriously lacked empathy and made a seriously difficult time in my life and my husbands much more difficult. They over reacted to a situation and could of shown a little compassion. I will never visit a rite aid again, they have ridiculous policies in place and the pharmacy staff is very unprofessional."
