Holiday Inn Express & Suites North East, an IHG Hotel

"This Holiday Inn Express is in need of a major renovation. The room we stayed in had a cracked ceiling and several ceiling stains covered with a glossy primer sealer. The box spring had a very large stan on the side of it, which is very likely from a biological source. The lower half of the bathroom door was covered with something splattered all over it. There was a very heavy odor of lysol in the room and hallways. The lobby walls are heavily stained when you look up above the entrance. The dining area floor has several warped areas that have a strong potential for tripping and falling. The furniture is worn and in disrepair in the rooms and dinning area. The more you look around it is very apparent that this location is neglected. The staff are friendly and agree the hotel needs attention. Traffic noise travels right through the cheap windows."

"The hotel was clean, right off the highway, and includes a great breakfast w/scrambled eggs, pancakes, sweet rolls and breakfast meats. Gas station and liquor store right around the corner."

"This was our hotel choice for our daughters wedding. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had the Bride and Groom, their family and friends that stayed there and they all were happy with the rooms, accommodations and morning breakfast. They did a great job making us all feel welcome."

"Was visiting with lots of family in town for a wedding when I checked in was smooth until I was told two hours later my card was not on system checking to make sure I was not double charged.the young lady was very nice .the evening person on does not know how to communicate with guests she was rude as far as I am concerned we were told one thing on one shift that we could stay out back till 11shecame off very rude talking to paying guests telling us to get inside as if we were children all we were doing is enjoying ourselves talking reminisce tomorrow is not promised"

"I was very surprised at how incredibly noisy the room was with route 272 beside it. Loud motorcycles and trucks woke me up several times between midnight and 4am. Given the fact I only stayed here for 5.5 hours, that was frustrating. Also $175 for a night here in this area is a tad steep compared to other Holiday Inn Expresses..... If you travel with a box fan or they give you a room away from facing the road, you'll be fine here. The room was very clean. No issues in that all important realm."
