"It's noway this office has 4 stars. The staff is very rude. The office manager is never available when you ask. The front desk would not give you the name of the office manager when I asked several times. Then the receptionist hung the phone up in my face."

"The receptionist, Maribel, was extremely inept and rude. Myself and my son were not treated with the professionalism and respect that is expected from a medical office. She was inept enough that, despite calling beforehand (and speaking to a different receptionist who confirmed our order was in the system), she refused to try to find our order multiple times. Or was unable to operate the computer to find it, which should be a requirement for her job. Multiple times she told us there was nothing she could do, that I drove my 3 year old son to get bloodwork there for nothing, despite calling. She was then somewhat forceful with my son, and while I understand being busy, you don’t handle a child that way, nor do you disrespect his parent by not talking to them about what you’re doing while you’re doing it. Maribel was unprofessional and seemed to lack the necessary skills needed when it comes to patient care. We will not be returning to Baystate reference laboratories."

"I see Dr. Epstein here, he is very professional and knowledgeable and makes me feel very comfortable during my appointments. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful and are very respectful of the patients. The waiting area is clean and organized and the location of their business is very convenient."

"So me and my wife just took all of our children out of this office. My wives phone broke and they claim they called my phone which they never did cause they had the wrong number in their system. So my youngest son missed his appointment, no biggie right? Wrong they gave us a time new date and time stating we had to take it because there is no other time. So I leave work early (from Boston), but due to the holiday travel traffic was a heavy. I called to say we are running late but will be there. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. The DR. Then got on and said it's not his problem and we weren't here on time we would not be seen and I would have to find another DR. Office. Then he procceed to say he will still see my other children just not my son. Mind you we been going here for the last 3 years and never missed an appt. Very shocked at the treatment and disrespect we received from bith the DR. and the receptionist. Never again would I ever step foot in that place nor would I recommend them to anyone"
