He answered my call at 8:00 in the evening and arrived at my house at 8:00 the next morning. Full story - My neighbor referred me to Dave, and I am very happy that he did. The pipes in one of my baseboard heating zones froze, and the oil company that services my boiler wanted me to sign a waiver that would allow them to do whatever they thought it would take to fix the problem, at whatever cost. (Specifically, they wanted to rip down the sheetrock ceiling in my garage to access the frozen pipes.) I decided to consult a plumber, instead; Dave to the rescue. He applied logic to the situation, rather than brute force. He warmed my garage with a 200,000 BTU heater, cut the send/return ends of the pipe, attached a pipe warmer (special tool that sends an electric current through the frozen pipes), and then put it all back together once they were thawed. In the end, everything was fixed in less than 3 hours with ZERO damage to my property. (I was lucky that the pipes didn't split, but if they had I'm confident Dave would have known what to do.)
