Dr. Mary E. Eslick, MD

"Dr. Eslick was recommended to me when I had my second child. Everything seemed OK at first, but with each visit, things got worse and worse. To begin with, most visits started with us being brought to a room by a nurse, review some basic information and then whatever necessary vaccinations given followed by 45 minutes to 1 hour wait to see Dr. Eslick. This proved over and over again to be stuck in a small room with a screaming infant. Last year, a month after my family had covid, my baby kept coughing and having fevers pop up. I brought her in for a sick visit as I was concerned that she possibly had pneumonia and Dr. Eslick proceeded to lay into me about all the things I should have been doing for my child, including giving my not even 1 1/2 year old cold medicine, which I had always been told was a huge no no. "My job is to teach you how to not let this happen again." She made me feel like I was a terrible parent when I was concerned that she had complications from covid. One time, I was stuck waiting for Dr. Eslick and a woman up front was screaming about how she had had it working for Dr. Eslick, which was extremely uncomfortable. Most recently, at my child's 2 year check up, the nurse asked me why I had never done any blood work on my child. I told her that this was the first time anyone in the office had discussed doing any kind of blood work. She seemed as confused as I was and handed me a lab slip. When Dr. Eslick came in the room a while later, she began asking me what my child could or could not do. She asked about whether or not my child could remove their own shoes. I said, no, not really. We don't really put on shoes that are easily removable. Her response, "well, 100% of children can remove their shoes at 21 months old so I'm not going to write that she is developmentally delayed but you need to work on that." That was the final straw for me. Absolutely no "bed side" manner. The office is disgusting, the rooms are literally falling apart. Not even sure how this woman is still practicing when this is how she speaks to parents."

"I wish she was a family medicine doctor, would love for her to be my PCP. I had a great experience with her for an allergy consult and results appointments. She is so nice and listens, her staff was great, and the building is charming, old fashioned and clean. I recommend her highly."

"I've been going here my whole life, (I'm 15) and they've always been very rude to me and my mother. One time right before the pandemic we waited for 3 hours to see why i didn't feel good, by the time I was checked out we've waited 2 hours. She jammed something in my ear and then gave me an ear infection without even helping me for why we went there originally. And along with that there were kids screaming the whole time. They have the same wallpaper and carpets and equipment from my oldest brother went back in the early 90's. It amazes me how they still up to code with all of this. Their play area prior to COVID was very disgusting and now it's just empty. Same carpets and everything too from the 90's as well."
