"I have been bringing my daughter here for 4+ years and never had a problem. I visited this office yesterday and had one of the worst experiences of my life. They denied service to my 11-year-old daughter who is asthmatic because we arrived 14 minutes late. I was mortified. The receptionist was very nonchalant as if she did not care. They need to retrain there staff on how to deal with customers. I explained to her that I left work early, rushed to pick up my child from school and headed straight to the doctor's office. On top of all of this, I called in and said I am running 10 mins late and she said OK that's fine just keep coming in and because I went over 4 mins she made the decision to deny me. She said no we are not seeing you today I am rescheduling you. I told her no this is not right being that I waited 2 months for this appointment and my daughter's asthma is getting worst and she still said no. I said I need to speak with someone else because this is ludicrous and she said you can have a seat if you want to but no one can see you because they are all busy. A few patients walked in after me and she was extremely nice to them as if she was mocking my daughter and me and to add insult to injury I hear one of the moms say I am sorry I am a few minutes late as she walked in and the receptionist said no problem dear have a seat and will be right with you. Now I have to find a brand new doctor's office who will see my child asap. I asked the receptionist if another doctor can see my child and she said no we will have to reschedule you based on our availability. As a mom, I am so hurt by this doctors office. They treated us like this was a business rather than a patient. I have waited in there waiting room for more than a half an hour at times and to be turned away for 14 minutes seems ridiculous to me. Especially that this was for a child in need of medical care. My daughter has really bad asthma/eczema. It's just not right. The receptionist could have done her job better with more compassion rather than just saying No and shrugging her shoulders. To make matters worst this practice stays open until 9 pm so it is not as if they were closing at 5 pm that day. I have made a complaint on their Facebook page and to my surprise, there are other posts from moms and dads with the same issue."
