"Was in a car accident on August 20th 2023 and the Er said I only had a bruised elbow no fracture..Guess what ? That bruised elbow was completely wrong diagnosis it was compartment syndrom which needed emergency surgery and 2 of them which I'm still dealing with this injury and pain..nice job at misdiagnosing . I still don't have complete use of left arm..The er staff was rude and brushed me off"
"Chelsey was a very VERY good nurse. Very respectful, very kind, always there if I needed help. Huge help in the hospital, I usually wouldn’t go there but she made the time pass and was very helpful. A+ for her."
"Exceptional service. We were in and out within 2 hours. Nurses and doctor was absolutely great! In all of my years having to go to the church emergency room for many different reasons, I’ve never had such a great experience. It felt as if they really cared and wanted to help. My first time at this hospital and I’ll recommend the service to anyone. I believe e doctors was Dr. Wolf. Thank you! My daughter is deathly afraid of the hospital and she had a great experience, as well."
"I have always heard the horror stories about CHH but never experienced them myself. Always had a good experience with the ED until this time. My 96 year old dad was brought in on 6/24/23 for a fall. ED did X-rays, CT scan and found nothing. He was sent home. He had horrific pain in his lower back. He was brought back to ED on 6/26/23 by ambulance because he could not sit or walk down the 2 stairs to get into the car. X-rays we’re taken again. Saw nothing, sent back home. He went all week in terrible pain. He fell again on Sunday. Home health care nurse requested that he return to ED on 7/3/23. X-rays and Cat scan were done again. A compression fracture in the lumbar spine was found. It was missed the first time he was there on 6/24/23 and now it was worse. The staff in the ED on 7/3/23 were wonderful!! The P.A was terrific. He was very informative and caring. The nurses and techs were also great. It was a different story on 7/3/23 -7/5/23. He was given very little care. He laid in the bed for 3 days. PT came in once on each of those 2 days for a few mins and stood him up. That was it. He wasn’t drinking, he was needing to urinate constantly but not able to. Now has UTI and still in terrible pain, from the UTI and his back. They did NOTHING for him. I knew he needed to drink more. I knew he was going to get dehydrated, I knew he needed to move, the risk of pneumonia from not moving was there. They just kept dismissing me. His nurses those 2 days were rude and condescending. They showed no compassion for my 96 year old dad or my 86 year old mom who spent all day there with him all 3 days. Today, 7/5/23 the tech came in to take his vitals, (the techs were great) Oxygen was low and temp was elevated. She told his nurse. She came in checked him again and says, “nope his oxygen is 97% and his temp is 99° Everything is normal”. Next thing we know they’re sending x-ray in. They do a chest x-ray and he has pneumonia. He was finally able to be admitted and brought to the fifth floor. Total different experience up there. The nurses and tech were wonderful and compassionate. I worked in the health care field for 37 years and know what it’s like but the way they DIDN’T take care of my Dad is not ok."
"The other day I took my child to this hospital, and I have to say that the hospitality was amazing. Although she had to wait in the hospital room for almost 2 hours to get discharged, the nurses treated her beautifully. The clam chowder there was pretty gross ( no offense), but the other food tasted like Gordon Ramsey made it. As soon as we walked into the hospital, the nurses provided her with blood pressure results in under a minute. Then, they took her to a room in the hospital and then gave her a heated blanket. But overall, I rate this hospital a good 4.5."
