"Lost our reservation twice, when we got there they couldn't find it. My pasta meal with clams, had broken pieces of clam shells in the linguine, wouldn't eat meal, and the woman said that happens from mixing pasta and shells together when preparing. Told her to take it away, wouldn't eat it, to see how she'd handle bill at end. She never adjusted it at all, I paid full bill, but this was the last time we will go there. Not the same place, after all the years I've been going. Disappointed I bought gift certificates there for Christmas, but it's there loss in the long run."

"Our meals were just like homemade! The waitress was sweet and could handle the whole room. The bread was the best ever and even the olive oil was a really good quality. We will go back again and bring friends."

"I've been here many times for dinner and events and never had a bad meal. It is located in the heart of Torrington and walking distance to other bars and restaurants. The new owners have definitely honored the traditional Italian food that has kept this a local landmark. Staff friendly, plenty of parking."

"Honestly, food was alright. I had got the chicken parmigiana nothing to special, and it came with a pasta that tasted kinda of bland. It could have been because we had come in a couple of hours before closing, but still. And the service that was my biggest problem. We had walked in a group of 3 of us. Seen the servers look right at us and overheard them bickering about who was going to sit and service us, and even after that, they still took them a while. With literally the whole place empty except a couple of people still there. That was a bad first impression for me. But the girl who did serve us was nice and patient. My problem was the other ones we could hear them talking about us. Which I didn't like. I will most likely not be returning. Didn't get pictures of the other food we got."
