"Excellent School !!! This program has exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the doors on the tour, I knew this was a special place. The staff here are incredibly dedicated and caring, creating a warm and nurturing environment for the students. The curriculum is fantastic!!! Tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. I've witnessed remarkable growth in my child's"
"Where do I begin, HCD is an amazing school. They have wonderful teachers and the school is very clean. They really work with each child and take their time to reach out to the parents to let them know how their child is doing. My son basically picked this school himself. He walked in and just knew it was for him. The smile on his face (he's non-verbal) made me feel comfortable. Trust your gut always but be open to giving your child the best education."
"One of the best schools for children with special needs , the staff are so caring and put so much dedication to each of the students !!! I would recommend this school in a heart beat !"
"From my experience for the 2 years that my son attended Hawthorne country day school, I felt like they showed discrimination towards the students. They were verbally abusive and did not teach the students. They did not give homework and allowed the students to play video games and be on YouTube. I took my son out of this school and put him in a public school. I don't trust private schools anymore. They tried to convince me to stay and work everything out together, but I refused. I'm giving advice to all the parents who's children attend Hawthorne Country Day, please make sure your children are okay, especially if they are non verbal. Thank God my son talks because he told me everything that they were doing at the school."
"Keep your kids far away from this school. This school is full of bullies. The staff are awful to each other and act like a bunch of freshman high schoolers. They will treat you as if you are dirt beneath their feet. A few months of working there was enough for me."
