"Still no new superintendent and the pupil services guy is the worst. We just had elections I'm sure taxes will go up again next year and the school system is garbage. Smh if you have kids don't even bother moving to this town. There's basically nothing for them to do and you have to travel like 40 minutes to get them to civilization. This town clearly hates it's constituents."
"Since moving to this district I have never once heard a nice word about superintendent Brian Reas or Special services Josh Martin from anyone. After having dealt with them when we were having problems with the school I can now see why. In the short time I have been in this district I have seen a music teacher fired, allegedly for inappropriate texts with minors, and the elementary school principal was abruptly asked to step down. She was not a good principal and probably shouldn't have been there as long as she had been. They do not help parents with concerns because other than private school there aren't really any other options than home school which most people can't do. Brain Reas and the administrators feel the parents work for them and not the other way around. Additionally I have reason to believe that Josh Martin is inappropriately using IEPs to keep students traped in special services that don't work, just so he can keep the federal funding. There has been little to no advance in my son's IEP related skills yet he insists on keeping services that ueild no results. Why advance a child out of their IEP when they can keep milking the cash cow. If you can find another district or homeschool I seriously recommend it. This review was edited years after my initial review and I have to say the school only gets worse the higher up you go. Please please please if your child has an IEP do not put them in this school. It will do nothing but harm."
