Reviews
"Dr.Schwartz is a great ObGyn doctor. She remembers her patients and their problems. She is always prepared and attentive. The reasons that it is not five stars are that I had to wait six months for the check up appointment and my appointments are rarely on time."
"If there was -5 Star for Customer Service that is what you deserve for the Poor quality of returning calls to your patients. I would suggest future parents to stay away as far as possible. Absolutely disgusted."
"I became a patient of Dr. Schwartz when I first began seeing the OBGYN at 16 years old. Up until age 22, she was the only OBGYN that I had seen. After the first few years of being her patient, the practice has been on a rapid decline. In the past few years I have tried to schedule an appointment with her on two occasions. The first instance was an appointment for pain, not just a regular checkup. Mere hours before my appointment the office called to tell me that she had a family emergency and could no longer see me. I was devastated because I had been experiencing the issue I was having for months and I had been looking forward to the appointment to try to get the issues resolved. I was told that day that I could "try" to get an appointment with another provider, to which I agreed. The woman on the phone told me the only appointment they had with another provider that day was within the next 30 minutes. I live 45 minutes away and thus I could not take that appointment. So I was left being unseen. More recently, in October of 2022 I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Schwartz because I had not received my first pap despite being a year past 21 (when you should have your first one). In October, I was told that the soonest appointment was May 22nd, 2023. I expressed that since I was already a year overdue and I was having some irregular symptoms I was eager to get in earlier than May, to which I was told I should find another doctor. After being Dr. Schwartz's patient for 6 years! I decided to just make the appointment for May and asked them to call me if there were any cancellations. In November I finally found another OBGYN in New Jersey, where I live. Needless to say, I forgot all about this appointment I scheduled 7 months ago until a few weeks ago when I get a phone call about a "scheduling conflict" because of which they needed to reschedule my appointment. That I made. 7. Months. Ago. Regardless, I wasn't even planning on going so it didn't really matter but I felt obligated to call the office and tell them I would not be going. I tried calling the office on two different occasions and they never. answer. I was waiting on hold for 45+ minutes just to give them the courtesy of telling them I wasn't coming. The third time I was so upset I decided it didn't matter how long I had to wait, I was talking to someone. So, during that phone call I decided to express my displeasure to the receptionist that I felt the practice was unprofessional and that I didn't feel cared about as a patient. She responded by telling me that Dr. Schwartz also does surgery in a hospital and so her surgery schedule will sometimes conflict with the office appointments but she doesn't know her surgery schedule until a few weeks beforehand. I told the woman on the phone how that doesn't really make me feel any better and it just makes me now feel like not only am I not cared about, but I am not prioritized either. She also suggested I see a doctor who doesn't perform surgery then. Why? Because I want a doctor who I can make an appointment with less than half a year in advance? Because I want a doctor who wont then cancel that appointment? I didn't even bother asking about rescheduling but I am 100% sure that there would be no priority for me since my appointment got canceled and I probably would have been waiting another 7 months. Go elsewhere."
