"Office was clean, barely any wait time at all and the staff were absolutely wonderful, very pleasant, and helpful. The nurse that spoke with me prior to seeing the doctor was such a joy to chat with, and made me feel very comfortable. However, I do have reservations about any experienced ob/gyn that recommends "there are plenty of medications to treat endometriosis" - any experienced endo specialist knows the gold standard of care for endometriosis is excision. When I mentioned having had 2 failed laparoscopic endometriosis ablation surgeries, he told me that if i had gotten pregnant after, it would've been life threatening (??) - maybe he confused endometriosis ablation surgery (where the endo is cauterized on the surface, failing to fully remove the deeply embedded endometriosis tissue growing on internal organs, with a D&C ? He seemed to think something was done to my uterus during those laparoscopies, when it wasn't. So the misinformation was concerning. For routine exams, he would probably be fine. But for anything more involved, I would suggest finding someone who truly understands certain medical conditions."
