Dr. Laura Kaye, MD

"I like Dr. Kaye. However, I feel like every time I see her, she is trying to get me to have a hormonal IUD. When I asked about tubal ligation, I was brushed off and recommended an IUD. I do not want a hormonal IUD or any other IUD. Meanwhile, my husband had a 30-minute Zoom session with a doctor, and they immediately scheduled a vasectomy. I am not sure why it is so difficult for women to get a more permanent form of birth control when they ask about it, yet a male can just ask for a vasectomy and get it scheduled. Furthermore, you wait on hold forever to speak to anyone, even if they pick up. After 30 minutes of waiting, I asked for a call back (last week) and still have not received one. I called about an appointment and had questions for a nurse. I was told I had to wait on hold and could not request a callback. Who has hours to sit on a phone call waiting for someone to pick up?"
