"This appointment was my teenage stepdaughter's first young women's health exam. She was scheduled with Dr. Kelly, which pleased me, since Dr. Kelly delivered my daughter 2 ½ years ago and we just loved her! We had a family member bring her to the appointment, (which the office said was fine with my consent,) but my stepdaughter went in with Dr. Kelly on her own. But she did gave Dr. Kelly permission to call me, which I was pleased about. I had only seen my stepdaughter for a couple minutes last night after the appointment as they stopped by and went to their mothers, so we didn't have time to talk much. She had only said that she really liked Dr. Kelly and that she gave consent to call me, which was surprising, as she is in her teenage phase where openness isn't exactly a strong suit. I was glad she was comfortable with the doctor calling me, which she did, first thing next morning, which was impressive. Many places would have a random nurse call, but I was very pleased Dr. Kelly herself took the time to call. She spoke pleasantly of the appointment, took the time to answer my questions. She never made me feel rushed or as though the call was an inconvenience. It was obvious she had a positive impact on my stepdaughter and made her feel comfortable. When Dr. Kelly said what they had discussed I was both suprised and thrilled. For her to have helped my stepdaughter to make such a responsible decisions regarding responsible reventative care for herself was so amazing, such a huge leap of progress for her. This really shows that Dr. Kelly has an ability to connect with young girls that you don't find with just any doctor every day. I was so pleased with my own experience with Candlewood physicians with my prenatal care and birth experience, but having such great exceptional care for my teenage stepdaughter made an even greater impact. I highly recommend this practice, and specifically Dr. Kelly herself!"
