"Brought my car in for an oil change and to check for a leak in one tire. Brought the car in in the morning and was told they’d call me in a couple hours, but I didn’t hear from them. I had to call in the next day to ask what was up, and then when I picked up the car, a synthetic oil change + a sealant on one tire was $170. The part that really threw me over the edge was when I checked the pressure on the other tires, the one that they checked was 15psi higher than all the rest, and it just seemed odd that they wouldn’t take the 30 seconds to match the air pressure with the other tires, so I had to go to a gas station to do that myself. The staff were fairly nice, but overall a bit of a ripoff for a mediocre service at best."

"Went in tonight at like 6, when they close at 7, for a flat tire after running over 2 nails in the road. They were super nice and got me in and out in 40 minutes!! They replaced the tire. Plus I had their warranty on my old tire, so the new one was free and I only had to pay like $30 for the new warranty. I have an appointment I can't miss in the morning and they totally saved my life here. Thank you!"

"Went in for oil change and tire rebalance. Was talked into balancing beads for an oversize tire. Technician did not put the valve stem caps back on the wheels. Did not take off existing balancing weights. Also not sure if he even put balancing beads in it. Upon pulling my vehicle out of the shop he spun the tires in the parking lot. Once I found out the weights were not removed the next day when I washed my truck I called for them to fix their mess up they referred me to a different fire stone. The fire stone in Cromwell they took off the wheel weights but the shake got worse. From there on I dealt with the fire stone in Cromwell they could not balance tires either. Their road force machine was down and had been down for years. They ended up referring me to a different tire service outside of the fire stone corporation."

"Friendly and efficient. They are my life saver! I had an emergency situation 12:30pm last Saturday when I was in New Haven CT, 60mi away from my house. A metal scrap punctured my tire and the tire went flat in less than 10min. I got roadside assistance to put on the spare tire. Called up many tire shops nearby, none could offer same day repair except for this shop. I was lucky that the tire can be patched up. William patched up quickly and installed it. I left the shop in less than 30mins and was on time picking up my daughter from her swim meet pretending as if nothing has happened. $31 well spent."
