"Worst mortgage company EVER!!! Nothing but issues since my mortgage was sold to them. They won't even let me speak to their escrow dept. where my issue lies. Don't use them! Stay away! Horrible!!!"

"These people are absolutely incompetent. I started a loan assumption in January post-divorce that is still ongoing 9 months later. I've gotten them all documents & it is weeks before I hear any updates each time. I received the clear to close one month ago & the company still has no clue what they're doing. They have called my title office, insurance agent, real estate agent, etc with questions that I (and they) have all answered a million times over. I was then told last week that this doesn't actually require a formal closing (AFTER 9 MONTHS OF WORKING ON THIS!!!) and now they won't update me on how to proceed. Each person tells me that they weren't aware that this is a divorce proceeding despite me telling each person at least 10x and them all stating "oh, I'll make note of that". No one knows what they're doing & I'm probably going to be going through the process until the end of time because of it. USE ANOTHER LENDER."

"My loan was sold to this conglomerate of an organization, I would have never chose them. I am ahead of schedule on paying my mortgage. However, the policies they have in place allow them to take UNAUTHORIZED money from your account instantly, and then take over 30 days to return funds, to which you have to work for by the way, its really not very apologetic. I am in this debacle now and can't wait to see what fees I will be charged for stopping auto pay, which is the only way I can get my money back before mid October. Highly advise you shop elsewhere."

"I have been with Planet since January 2023 and I absolutely hate that Vanderbilt sold my mortgage to them.. it's been one mess up after another with my escrow, property tax (I'm exempt) and insurance. Call to get clarification and just get transferred and when I speak with someone, they act as if I'm disturbing them. I never had these problems with my previous mortgage company. I understand the adjustments from being a vacant lot to dwelling and that first year adjustment. I paid that. as soon as I was switched to Planet, I've had 2 insurance policies they paid(strange) called the insurance company got that cancelled and sent them the check to cover the shortage. I thought that would clear it ...Nope, still short. Then they claim like they paid my property taxes and didn't know I'm homestead tax exempt, gave me a case number was told to call back in 7 days, call gives case number no case was placed on my account to look into, spoke to another rep that said they received a check for my property taxes what they paid but they sent it back . Sent it back to whom? Claim they didn't know I was exempt Didn't Vanderbilt send my whole file over when they sold the mortgage to them? So, tonight i get a new analysis and low and behold I'm still short, after going behind and fixing all these errors. I don't get how or why this happened but I'm still short. it's a nightmare dealing with them at this point and trying to get a straight answer and a rep that's actually trying to see what's going on. I hope I'm not with them long."
