"Love, love, love this store so much. It’s not the content or merchandise of the store that I have an issue with it’s one particular staff member. I don’t know her name but every time I go in there she stares at me and walks around the desk so she can hear what I’m saying to my friends. She makes me very uncomfortable, she is an Indian lady. Every-time I go to check out she asks me what’s in my bag and where I bought it and she is very rude when she asks. Im gonna guess she thinks I’m stealing because I’m a young-adult and it concerns me that it’s her first thought."

"Manager would not take 2 Hallmark Rewards certificates on a single card purchase. Claimed it was a restriction, but there is no such wording on the certificates. Threatened to call security on me when I got upset. Went to the corporate-owned Hallmark near my house in NY, and they accepted them, and of course both certificates scanned fine. Will not be going back to this store. Also, Rewards Certificates do not deduct sales tax, which they should if they are considered coupons. That is in violation of Connecticut state law. Someone should report them."

"Was in last week to return a Mother’s Day gift due to me not realizing I had already purchased the same one a couple of years ago. When I go to return the employee told me only the manger can do the return and that she was on her lunch break. Which I had no problem waiting for, I told her I would browse around in the meantime. The manger ended coming off her break. When She had entered the store, she was immediately rude to the employee. And didn’t say a word at first to me while processing the return. But when she did it was very rude and it was just very uncomfortable. I would never come back here again."

"The store was full of many ideas for gifts and special occasions and the staff were friendly and helpful."
