"This is a difficult one to write . Needing a soft dinner after having some dental work , I stopped here for the first time on Friday , 1/12/24 at about 4:30 PM , after having passed Platia countless times . Parking without stepping on gum was a task , but on my third try , I found a spot . I hoped to see Moustaka on the menu , and did....and it was delicious . The music was light , the bathroom small but immaculate , seating inconvenient ( I was not given a choice ) but comfortable ....... So what could I complain about ? The manager / greeter was stonefaced , not at all pleasant . Employees were lined up against a wall facing me ( one seemed intrigued by my boots ; they talked loudly ) ; a little privacy would have been welcome . No bread was served until I asked for it ( but the soft pita was delicious ) . ....... Finally , upon leaving , not one word of thanks from management or any employee ( and I tip well ) . Great food , an attentive busboy , but a strange , uncomfortable experience . As I often pass by in warm weather enroute to Sagamore Hill or The Planting Fields , I might stop by again , but when it comes to restaurants , Two Strikes , you're out !"
"Felt like I was in a scene from My Big Fat Greek Wedding and I loved it!! Food was great, staff super nice and they even have live music on Sundays! Great family restaurant. I'm glad we found this place"
"Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Excellent drinks, good food and fantastic service. Our only criticism was that the place was decorated nice enough, however lacked warmth. It was way too bright. I felt like I was inside a tent instead of a restaurant with a cool vibe. Our server was Maria was amazing! A real Rock Star! She was personable, helpful, excellent at her job and her positive energy was contagious! She definitely enhanced our dining experience and gave great recommendations. When we arrived, Nick greeted us with a fantastic smile.....when we left we were excited to share some positive feedback with the owner. However, he had no personality and could possibly care less. I am not sure if we will return. There are plenty of other options."
"I went here today for lunch. I genuinely love Greek food and the Greek culture, so I was extremely excited to check out this place. When I walked in I wasn’t greeted welcomely. Instead I was rudely asked what I needed by a man watching tv and eating pasta? He was not welcoming at all and if I owned a business I would not want that person representing my business and greeting my customers… A different person took my order. I wish I got his name but he was equally in a bad mood, as the man eating pasta. I felt very uncomfortable being a women surrounded by two men who were extremely hostile… I was unsure what to order because it was my first time there and instead of my waiter helping me he just insisted that I read the menu, without recommending anything. At this point I was ready to walk out but I was starving and had to return to work. Once I got my food and paid my bill, I left. No one said bye or thanks for coming, instead they both continued to watch television and neglect a customer. I am a local food critic and food blogger on social media, this restaurant will NOT receive any free promotion from me due to the experience I had. Additionally the pita bread that I ordered was burnt, has lettuce on it and was non edibles. I threw my entire order away. I wasted a total of $40 and that included a tip. I wish this business the best and I hope your staff gets more training."
"The food tasted good but we ordered yeeros and we thought they were going to be sandwiches cause we wanted something small, but it was a platter and a lot of food. They give you a lot of food. Service was good but we also ate at like 3 in the afternoon so we were only the people inside."
