"Awesome Grinch brunch! Excellent BLT! The Grinch was so much fun the kids loved it."
"Okay I literally hate posting this because I never want to speak poorly on a small business. However I know a lot of the reason we went here is because of reviews. I was really excited to come here. We rarely get a date night and have read amazing things. We walked in and it has a cool atmosphere, the lake is surrounded by fall colors. It was a bit more small town bar vibes than expected but that was fun. However the bugs were not. We spent the night surrounded by fruit flies and black flies, both dead and alive. Honestly I should have left as soon as I realized, and would have I if I wasn’t such a people pleaser and drove so far. We sat by the window and it had numerous alive flies and gnats on it. Then I adjusted the cushion/ pillow that is the length of the window to give me a tad more support there were hundreds of dead bugs by it right touch the bench. I was horrified. Then while eating twice we had a small swarm of gnats and flies try to land on our food. Spent more time swatting bugs than enjoying my meal. I know it sounds like I’m exaggerating but I’m sadly not. I ended up so nauseous I couldn’t finish my food or drink. I told the waitress and she seemed genuinely apologetic and surprised, but the amount of bugs dead there isn’t like it happened over night. Plus no manager came to speak to us or anything was done about it. This being said everything was cooked well, chicken and waffle wasn’t what I was expecting. A lot of red hot sauce, but still was pretty good. Mac n cheese tasted and looked very artificial but wasn’t bad. If it wasn’t for the bugs I’d have had a great night. So if they get this under control I think it would be a good place. But I don’t want to be afraid to drink my cocktail because it has an orange in it and the bugs have to be coming from somewhere ya know? The photos stink, I rushed taking them."
