"I definitely would not recommend Nicole- Aprn. Every time we have her as a last minute appointment, she talks to us like we're stupid. The last time I saw her, it felt like she made a big show of disinfecting herself as we were leaving. If she's so afraid of being near a sick kid, maybe she does not belong in the medical field. I do not feel comfortable bringing my child to see her ever again. Its disappointing because every other doctor there, that has seen my children, has been amazing and very nice. But this one provider is making me reconsider whether I want to stay with this office."

"This review is not in reference to the doctors at Pediatric Associates of Connecticut. My wife and I bring our son here to see Dr. Slaiby and he has always been absolutely amazing with us and with our son. It is incredible that they offer an after-hours help line for when emergencies arise, and this was a reason we decided to choose this office for our son. This review is focused on our experience calling the above help line tonight. Our son who has been teething threw up his medicine right before bed. Before we decided to give it to him again we wanted to get some advice on whether or not we could give it to him again. We were connected to an APRN, Anne Marie Vogt, who from the top of the call seemed disinterested. When I tried to explain the situation, she cut me off before I could finish and just told me that my technique for giving my son the medicine was wrong, and that I should have practiced beforehand. I'm a first time dad - I don't pretend to have all the answers. But when I call about an issue that could result in harm coming to my son, I expect a level of respect and courtesy that was not received. It felt like she ignored my questions, and rather than providing medical advice, berated me without fully understanding the situation. Only after repeated explanations did I feel like she heard what I was saying and provided some advice. I got off the call feeling ignored and disrespected, neither of which I've felt going to this office before. I've worked in customer service, so I understand that maybe she was having an off day. But in this line of work, it's important to be a little understanding and compassionate, especially when dealing with confused, upset parents who might just need some reassurance that what they're doing is right, and if not, to offer advice instead of criticism."

"If they took adults I'd go here too. In all my life, this is by far the best medical provider I've ever experienced. The office staff is friendly helpful and competent. All of the providers are good doctors and have excellent bedside manners. There's an urgent care now open downstairs which has fantastic hours and there is always someone on call. They intern as well at Danbury hospital so someone was there for both children the day they were born."
