"Getting in contact with these doctors, in between visits, for getting test results, or to ask a question, has been made very difficult with the introduction of a new system where a different set of "triage nurses" take your call, and then just assign your nurse/doctor a computer item to call you. And you wait 15 on phone hold just for that. This was Mount Kisco Medical Group (which was pretty decent), then bought out by CareMount Medical, which is now Optum. It has gotten really, really bad."
"Absolutely deplorable, third world, shameful practices being carried out by greedy Dr. Hayworth and associates. All the good Drs. forced out of practice or stay and look like they want to commit suicide. Water pouring through ceilings in exam rooms and doctors frantically yelling at staff that they cannot see patients as you walk down the hallways. Roof in desperate need of repair but Optum is too cheap and greedy to bother to repair it. Floods are a weekly occurrence. Medical supplies and drugs floating in water and you cannot pick up needed samples because they are contaminated . Any new doctor quits and you have to start over every 3 weeks. Months to a year to even get an appointment. It is so bad that the doctors actually look like they want to cry and tell you that "They don't know how much more they can take". THE DOCTORS HAVE STARTED TELLING PATIENTS THAT!!! Inefficient, dangerous practices including skipping tests that result in improper or no treatment at all. If you do not have an advocate hovering over every single doctor, they cut corners and try to find excuses to skip running tests. Patient in anaphylactic shock turned away by incompetent administrator at front desk and told that there was no available appointment and that they should go to the emergency room at a hospital, when they had minutes to live. Thank God a doctor walked out at that exact moment and saw the patient was turning blue and admitted them immediately or they would have died en-route to the hospital. Most doctors have become so impatient that they cannot even hide how fed up they are. Doctors being asked to drive in from other facilities in NYC for one day, in order to cover the paucity of available staff. Nursing staff quitting in droves, leaving doctors in the lurch, so doctors are then left with no staff, trying to frantically carry out the running of the entire office on their own, leaving them barely able to function or properly do their job, which in turn puts patients at high levels of risk, while greedy Dr. Hayworth/Optum declares an immediate hiring freeze in response, when no adequate staff exists to begin with. All done in order to line corporate pockets with more money. Lisa Bardack, you should be ASHAMED of yourself for selling out to this disgusting, corporate, insurance "billing operation" and throwing all of your colleagues and patients under the bus. Doctors and patients included. All to line your pocket. You have sold your soul to the Devil. I hope what goes around, comes around for you. You are a disgrace to the medical community and have lost ALL the respect that you worked so hard all your live to achieve. You must be proud of that."
"Been a patient since it was formally known as MKMG, this practice has fallen from grace. I let my Primary Care Physician know that I am finding a new PCP. The end of the week, Lisa Bardack, wrote me a letter saying I am basically not allowed back at Optum/Caremount Medical. No reasoning. This place does not care about their patients. Edit as of Oct 13th: This medical care provider does not care about the patient. There is more politics involved than attention to patient needs."
"Went for an yearly checkup they gave a bill for 700$, for measuring height, weigh, 2 minutes doctor appointment (which is said he's too busy)? Very bad experience."
"I am absolutely disappointed with this group. Will NOT RECOMMEND anyone here. For the past 2 years, I have rarely got through their phone lines unless I have waited 50-60 mns This past week my husband came home with a prescription and turns out it was never called into our pharmacy. This is for a serious condition and today he tried calling back to the doctors office and has been on hold for 53 mns with NO RESPONSE. What kind of a service or patient care is this?? Absolutely ridiculous and zero regard for patients health. Feedback for Dr Jenkins and his team"
