"It was terrible. Im African American 20s something woman and wanted to go home but they wouldn’t let me go back home. They barely helped I had worse nightmares while being there. I couldn’t even see my mom and my dad but they dispatched a white younger woman the next day. When I spoke up for myself while being there I had to eat something completely different from the rest of the group. I experienced discomfort and discrimination while being here."
"terrible!!!! the people who run this place are awful and annoying, staff who is with us is nice but treatment team leaders sucked balls, there was absolutely nothing to do and we just sat there with our thoughts all day, this place is terrible at discharge planning and just everything overall. also painfully cold and they would not do anything to help it. do not send your kids here"
"My son was placed there for 2 weeks from day one we were treated like trash. Were african american before he went up to be placed we rode up in an ambulance I was promised transportation back into the city from the hospital staff because i don't drive but once i got there they changed their minds knowing i had to work and i was let go from a new job. But they helped another family with transportation that wasn't african american. Whenever i went to visit i had to stand outside in cold temps waiting for taxis. When my son was discharged they basically had no discharge plans for him they rushed us out after i signed documents for ongoing services and day treatment programs that never existed i called and complained and no one ever called back until today. My son is 13 and im just getting him back into school after weeks of reaching out to hospital staff including administrators. My son was discriminated against and something has to be done about this place. I was able to get him some ongoing therapy but this by far the worst hospital and staff we've ever had to deal with. They were rude they lied about everything. If i could give them a -0 as a rating i would. Very racist place and they don't try to hide it."
"I was here for 2 weeks. It's not AS bad as people say. Yes, other people have different experiences but mine wasn't that bad. On the first day they expect you to be fully comfortable and interact with everyone. It took me maybe 3 days to settle in. The food was not bad, but they had us sleep at a early hour. Some staff was okay. Alissa and Victoria were annoying, Victoria favored the females. Donald and Hunter are the best tho, props"
