"If you're looking for new Primary Care look elsewhere. I recently moved to South Windsor and needed to find a new Primary Care doctor. After doing some research, I scheduled a physical with Doctor McDonald. This is my experience in just the last month. 1. After my physical appointment, the office billed my insurance for multiple diagnosis instead of a physical. The diagnosis's in question were just the medical history I told the doctor ex: being diagnosed with scoliosis 10 years ago. 2. After my physical, they wanted to schedule a follow up appointment to go over bloodwork. I had already seen the results and everything was good. Past doctors would have followed up over the phone instead of making me come in and get billed for the visit. 3. When I came in for this unnecessary follow-up appointment, Doctor McDonald said, "It's nice to meet you," completely forgetting that he had seen me a couple weeks prior. 4. I was interested in an ADHD evaluation and was told to contact their other office in Hartford. When I did, I was told that the person in charge of these evaluations is on leave and there is no replacement. 5. A few weeks later I received a call to be evaluated. I went in for the evaluation. Didn't receive an actual diagnosis, was told that they would refer me back to Dr. McDonald and then never heard from him. 6. Today I called to leave a message for Dr. McDonald and three times I was transferred to a different person at a different office. The fourth time I called this office, I was flat out hung up on. I will not be a patient here any longer."
