Reviews of Allies Medical Group
"Update FEB 1, 2024 in response to "OWNER": It's no surprise that I get a response that uses a blatant lie as defense. It's obvious it was written by one of the front desk woman who continues to show their lack of professionalism. I would have some level of respect if you had taken ownership and simply apologized. Thanks for proving my point! It's upsetting to learn that others had the same horrible experience I did. This is the clinic for you if you want to feel dehumanized, as if you're being processed for prison time. There were no pleasantries, no apologies, no signs of professionalism, and no indications that they cared either way. The two front-desk women were to blame. They were both sour-faced and appeared to be irritated by the fact that they had to work. They offered no "Good morning" or even a simple "Hi," just a quick bark of "Name!"... and then "Sign and initial, sign initial..." and then snipping at me for trying to return their pen, telling me to put it in a cup labeled "DIRTY PENS." That was useful to know. It's also worth noting that I did not select Allies. As part of the World Trade survivor program, I was scheduled for a physical evaluation – but that didn't earn me a smidgeon of empathy. Because it was over an hour drive, I put on a cheerful face so I wouldn't have to reschedule... But I had no idea one of the women at the front desk was the nurse who would be drawing my blood as well. Here is part 2 of the nightmare. After kicking a garbage pail out of the way, she told me (not asked me) to rest my arm on a file cabinet, and completely dismissed me when I told her I get apprehensive with needles –my hint for her to be gentle. Yet, despite having "visible and easy veins" and never having a problem with blood draws, she struggled to find a vein. Read: she didn't know what she was doing. Stuck me once, and it slipped out, blaming me, trying again without success – until I finally declined when she wanted to try the other arm. This was infuriating, leaving me with my forearm purple and black and in pain for the rest of the day and the next. The doctor who saw me after that was pleasant and empathic, but it wasn't enough to compensate for the humiliating experience. Nonetheless, I always try to rise above such situations, so on my way out, I lightheartedly apologized to the nurse for causing her so much trouble on a Monday morning—hoping it would elicit some humanity. Her response: “Yup, no problem.”"
"I went there for medical uscis and I totally recommend this place, staff are polite and friendly. Doctor was absolutely amazing."
"I think the world of Dr. Mufti. He recently treated me for an infected tick bite (the second such treatment he has administered to me in the last ten years), and I was delighted with his care. Dr. Mufti is one of those old-fashioned physicians who still manage to practice medicine with compassion, competence and good cheer. I heartily recommend him for treatment of any medical problem that would be appropriate to bring to an urgent care clinic."
"My wife needed to have her Immigration Medical Examination. She has some medical issues and I wanted to discuss it with the doctor before paying for the Exam. I called several approved Civil Surgeon offices and all the conversations were completely formal without any human touch. I was feeling completely ignored by the Big Medical Machine. And then my friend told me about Dr. Naumann Mufti at Allies Medical Group. I called his office and explained my situation and I was immediately transferred to the Dr. Naumann Mufti directly. He listened to me and explained to me my options. It was a very nice and professional talk. The Exam was scheduled for the next day. Personal in the office was very friendly and helpful. Everything was done promptly and efficient. The only thing, that was a bit less professional, was a bloodwork. The first nurse couldn’t get needle into the vein. She tried several times and then said – “It’s not my day today”. Not a professional manner. Then she called a second nurse and she did it at the first attempt. Then my wife was seen by the Dr. Naumann Mufti. Doctor Naumann Mufti is an old-school doctor, who sees another human being in you. Doctor explained to my wife all the options and did all the necessary procedures. Five days later I received a call from Dr. Naumann Mufti office, that the Exam paperwork is ready. I would highly recommend Dr. Naumann Mufti and I would definitely see him, if I have any real medical issue."
"The office staff are all friendly, polite, helpful and efficient. My first visit with Dr. Nauman Mufti was a great pleasure. He's an old-school family doctor, meaning he likes to talk to (and listen to) his patients, and genuinely cares about them. And he has a good sense of humor too! If you're tired of GPs who ignore you during your 6 minute annual physical while they stare at a computer screen trying to find a test to give you and then charge you for a second consultation if you ask them a question, then try Allies Medical Group. You will be very happy."
