"Family owned business. My Grandmother went to his father. God Bless them! Great work Great people!!!!"
"Family owned business are the best Frank, Paul and their sister are amazing people they have fixed numerous shoes, and purses for mother and I. I highly recommend them and their new location is superb ! Kudos !!"
"I dropped off my gucci loafers here to get some minor scuffs taken out of the tips. These shoes have never before been cleaned or polished. They used a dark polish on the shoes that left marks everywhere and left the shoes looking notably darker, with the stitching turning from a light brown to near black. They refused to acknowledge that they didn’t use a clear polish despite the fact that I scraped the polish they used off my fingernails. Furthermore, there were places where they left polish on the inside of the shoe and on the golden buckles. They yelled at me, didn’t even give me back the money, and refused to help remedy the situation or take any amount of ownership. It’s super frustrating for a place to massively change the look of a nine hundred dollar pair of shoes and to yell at me when I bring it up. This place doesn’t deserve your business, and don’t bring anything here that you aren’t willing to buy a new pair of when they ruin it. (note in the pics: the stain inside the shoe, coming off on a dry paper towel, and on the buckle)—i don’t mind the stain on the buckle, I mind that they used a stain at all."
"Their new location on Church St. is bigger, brighter, clean, and only a stone’s throw away from the old place. I’ve used their friendly helpful and expert services for years, and are still the great bargain they always were. I also found a belt I needed among the many items for sale."
"Needed the main zipper repaired on my heavy winter jacket. They did the job initially, but it was a flimsy zipper. Upon my first time wearing the jacket, the zipper broke off clean, as it was clearly inadequate for the jacket. I thought, OK, this was a waste of $50 but I'm sure when I return they will either issue me a refund or agree to repair it again with a more adequate zipper. To my dismay, when I called up and then returned to Chillemi, at first I was told by the store worker/owner behind the counter that he didn't see anything indicating the zipper was broken! The base of the zipper was clearly missing as it had broken off which I witnessed with my own eyes when it happened. As an expert for presumably years or decades in this business, how can you honestly say something this obviously wrong to a customer? Perhaps they didn't want to repair it for me? After insisting on my part that it was in fact broken, they said they would fix it again with a sturdier zipper for an additional $15. I was a bit upset that I'd even have to pay extra as $50 for the initial zipper should have far more than covered their costs, even if the new zipper was another few extra bucks... but, fine, I paid it. More importantly the fact they could have used a sturdier zipper the entire time was upsetting because it suggests they clearly knew the first flimsy zipper was not a good fit for this heavy winter jacket yet they used it anyway presumably to save a few bucks on their end. $65, several trips, and wasted time later, the "sturdier" zipper on my jacket does not even work well and the zipper gets caught frequently. THEY DO NOT PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST. PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS BEWARE."
