"I was brought into the ER via ambulance a year ago for a GI issue. I was given the worst treatment. They kept trying to force the mask on me while the head nurse had the mask hanging below her nose! I refused. After a CT, they claimed I had an obstruction but didn’t show me the CT results. They kept insisting scar tissue but couldn’t/wouldn’t explain from what. I was bombarded by the ER doctor, the Hospitalist and a surgeon. They kept insisting I needed to have a tube down my nose to “alleviate the obstruction” to see if it would prevent possible surgery on what I do not know. I was terrified. I refused everything while my abdominal discomforts were abating. I was then threatened by the ER doc, if I left and returned, I would have to submit to a bogus covid test. ET doc said I had a life threatening condition needing immediate medical attention. I was there for a GI not upper respiratory. My white blood count was elevated indicating I likely had an infection, needing antibiotics that wasn’t treated. I walked out the door. I treated myself at home. I would give it a zero if I could. If you go there, you will not be treated with respect. In the corporation run hospitals, Hospitalists which are MD administrators decide on patient care not the MD’s and chances are strong, it’s based on how much insurance will pay. Also note, Sharon hospital is $40 MILLION in the red! I strongly suggest looking up hospitalists. Many aren’t aware of the malpractice suits against them. Patients beware. The last place to be is in a hospital especially Sharon!"

"The ER Receptionist Jill. Very nasty butter person. Such an attitude it makes the entire hospital look unprofessional. If you don’t like your life or your job maybe you should make a change! Not take it out on other people"

"Was hit by another motorcycle and the staff took wonderful care of me. My orthopedic doctor in NYC said they put me back together well. Now to heal and get back on a motorcycle"

"Sharon Hospital has always been there for us. We have used this hospital for the birth of our children. Everyone was wonderful. They explained each step of our new path to us. Then we used it for our children's treatments through 3 am ear infections to early detection of heart issues. We have use this hospital for breast cancer treatment, Hysterectomy, hand surgeries, feet surgery and abdominal surgery. As you can see we continue to go back because our family is always taken care of with respect and dignity. We have had wonderful doctors, nurses and technicians. They make you feel cared for. We just had another trip there. The emergency room was quick acting. They got my mom what she needed and pointed us in the right direction for her next step. We are very thankful for everyone at Sharon Hospital. Thank you for being there for our community. Keep up the great work."

"Front-Line staff and administrators are effective, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. What beggars belief though is that this hospital indirectly agitates local jurisdictions to subsidize the ICU, which in effect means the hospital won’t pay staff a living wage, so the the hospital bilks taxpayers for the difference."
