"Buyer beware... Unfortunately, my experience with Alternative Closet was unpleasant. The design process was a breeze and the quality of the closets are sturdy and easy to manipulate, but it really came down to the day of installation and aftermath that has turned me off. Issues: 1) My home is brand new, built in '22, and we asked the installers to wear booties as the floors were done days prior. They refused and made my mother feel uncomfortable to continue to ask them. No other contractors have refused this ask...and they all are carrying heavy equipment, materials, etc. 2) There are multiple pieces of the closet that were left behind damaged, more importantly, they damaged my doors and floors these closets were installed in. I have to either pay for repairs to the floors or for painters to redo the paint on the doors. SO unclean and unprofessional. 3) One installer smoked right outside my front door with the front door open, getting smoke into my brand new house that I am moving into. I have him on camera smoking as he cut wood on my brand new stone. When I brought my issues up to the team, all they offered were "shocked reactions" as these are their "best installers" and the only thing they could offer me for all of these inconveniences was for someone to come out A MONTH later to "fix" the small issues I called out with the actual closets. Nothing else... and I don't even want to entertain these people being allowed back into my home. Overall, I 100% would not recommend this company to anyone else and cannot believe I spent over $10k to be treated like this. Buyer beware... spend the money with a company that will treat you like their only customer."

"Had an appointment to design a new closet system. The designer did not ring the doorbell, but instead walked directly into the house when another contractor doing other work was walking out and startled my wife. Very unprofessional. Sent her away immediately."

"I had my closets installed today. They are great. I loved the end result. The quality is very good and I'm impressed with the drawers. They close nicely! The designer was very friendly and helpful and I also was very helped by the person responsible for the installation. We are in the middle of Covid's crisis and she kept the installation date because she understood that I needed the closet in my baby's room (I'm 8 months pregnant). Of course, she provided all the necessary equipment for the assembly team. Very happy with my choice. I would definitely work with that company again."

"Absolutely love my nursery closet , the layout is perfect and the materials used are sturdy and reliable. It was always easy to get in touch with the office- however i had a difficult time getting straight answers or calls back from Brooke the designer. If you’re type A and want quick friendly responses I would definitely use this company but just ask for a different designer."
