"What a hidden gem in the state of Connecticut! My wife and I stayed just above the waters edge. We slept to the sound of a couple of small waterfalls and the fresh clean air. The host was Exceptional and extremely well informed. He gave us a tour of the Quarry and some very interesting history. Fascinating to see where the New York Brownstones came from originally. This place was a fully operational stone quarry from the 1600s forward! Large slabs and boulders cascade around the property. We watched a large variety of birds and some singing frogs calling into the night. We were shocked to find such a campers paradise tucked away so close to a tiny town They have drumming circles here both rain and shine for you to come and claim the Earth as your own. This place was only and hour and a half from our home! What a great find that we will return to! If you want to see the hand forged iron, it's here. We actually even saw a large stone that had dinosaur prints on it! When you go, please let them know Rock From RI sent you. He may even give you the secret to watching the Hawks fishing!"
