"I called to have my son tutored for the ACT. I spoke with several peoople and, after soome time, got a scheduled call to speak with someone. I was looking for tutoring only — no college selection or any other services. Thye requested I send my son's high school transcript, his SAT scores and current school courses. I did that. Next, I asked for a follow up via email once the material had been sent and receeived. I did not get one. I followed up with phone calls 3-4 times with NO call back. I was eventually told by phone on that 4th call that it was too late to prep for the upcoming June test, but they could tutor him for the next test. I said that would be fine. I called again for the next test cycle in July. No call back after multiple calls explaining they had my material and I wanted to get started. No response. I called again several times. No call back and no follow up in almost 10 weeks. A few things are off here. First, why did they ask for my son's personal information and agree to tutor him when they did not seem to have the organization or inclination to follow up for the tutoring servies discussed? Second, any business who cannot follow up and call back and treat potential clients with basic courtesy and professionalism is not one worth giving your money to. I have since heard feedback in the community about this business. The feedback is consistent with my experience — lack of interest in just tutoring and more interest in billing and creating packages for mutliple services to increase the client's price point. This is a mistake, no matter what neighborhood you are in. With so many qualified local in-person and online tutors, I am amazed this business has such unprofessionalism and indifference to its potential local customers. I have been doing college applications and testing for almost 10 years with my 3 other children and have been in many school and academic settings. I have never experienced anything like this. Really a terrible experience. I would not let them tutor my child if they paid me at this point."

"I could not recommend F&B more. Truly a 10/10 experience. I was a student at F&B for several years throughout my schooling. I had various tutors for math and science classes to not only provide additional support but to push me beyond what my school was teaching at the time. All of my tutors tailored their coaching specifically to my needs and really helped me reach my potential in all subjects (in honors and AP classes). In addition to subject tutors, I went to F&B for college advising and SAT tutoring and truly had the best experience with all staff members. Kim herself was my college advisor and SAT tutor. She, like all of the staff led by her and Trey, tailored my process specifically to me, my goals and my needs. She worked with me weekly (at some points daily) to ensure all of my needs were addressed and goals were achieved. I ended up at my top choice college (after applying ED) and that was in part due to Kim and F&B as a whole for their guidance, tutoring and support during one of the most stressful processes of my life. Kim and Trey take such a personal interest in their students, and it is so evident through their student retention and track record of helping students reach their potential."
