"Beautiful lake in the State Park."

"Good place to relax. Fishing in fall is a little challenging at least for bass. But then again I'm not the best fisherman. Other than fishing not much to do. Birdwatching was decent but nothing exceptional. Overall not bad."

"A beautiful park particularly in autumn season. There is a relaxing atmosphere thanks to the many trees, the lake and the surrounding quiet. On weekends there are more people in the park."

"Beautiful weather and very nice view, great place for barbecues. Clean grounds. Manicured grass. Tons of picnic tables with barbecue grill. Beautiful lake. There's public swimming pool available. Fishing at the lake. Hiking trails with trail. There is not much more to ask. Plus, NO ADMISSION FEE, except $8 daily parking fee. 30 miles from NYC. Close to shopping centers or outlets. Not much more you can ask from state park. A must do if you live in NYC."
