Pleasure Beach

"Although I've heard good things about the beach......Google sent me on a wild goose chase with wrong directions"

"City of Bridgeport is inept at running the ferries. Lists on their website ferries run 7 days a week. Long line waiting for the ferry today and no sign saying it’s closed. I called up the parks and rec and apparently ferries are only running on the weekend. They are also too small to carry the demand of passengers trying to get out to the island. Add that in to running only 6h a day, 2 days a week- the feds should force Bridgeport to sell off the island to someone who can run it competently"

"Beautiful place where nature is slowly swallowing up the remains of the old town. Very peaceful deep place. Especially in the winter. Unfortunately I guess your not supposed to go off the beach into the woods and only found out after I saw a sign when searching for a snow owl and native cactus. I also walked the sand bar. But theres a ferry that will take you there in the warm months."

"Tried to go here but it said private beach. You need a pass to park here and go to this beach."

"You go though a small boat and after You get a golf car. Beach isn't good for a bath but worthwhile the view even more you don't have to pay anything ."
