"Very huge park. Excellent for hanging out, relaxation and walk. Beautiful views."
"You have to pay $60 to visit this park, which I find it very expensive for CT visitors. I visited on September 3rd, a day before Labor Day, and the park was full. You can have a picnic, beach and lighthouse. This park is much better to visit in the fall when it is not crowded and free to visit. Sunset in this park is so beautiful, especially from the jetty leading to the lighthouse. Rock hoping on the jetty is fun going to the lighthouse. At a few locations on the jetty, it is tough to pass through, but it is fun."
"Seaside Park is the best park/beach in Fairfield County. We have a long stretch of beach which is really clean. Our parks have plenty of baseball diamonds to facilitate every age level as well of plenty of land to provide soccer fields for youth leagues as well as young adults and adults. Their is plenty of parking and picnic tables for barbecuing."
"I walk at Seaside Park frequently. Stunning views of the Sound. Sidewalks for a couple of miles as well as bike lanes. Benches all along the sidewalks as well as picnic tables in the grassy areas. You need a pass to park in the park area from Memorial day to Labor day which I think is worth purchasing but if you are willing to walk a little further you can park outside the park and walk in. If you prefer early morning walks the gates don’t open until 8 am but again you can park outside the park itself and walk in."
"The park itself is nice. A nice walk along the water, sculptures are interesting. The biggest issue I had was the permit only parking everywhere, but nowhere to purchase! I managed to find some non permit parking nearby. When I looked up the permits, they are CRAZY expensive! $50 for one day of out of state parking??!! It was a nice visit to see the PT Barnum statue."
