Reviews
"This was a very nice hike. We started on Sheepskin Hollow Road and did clockwise the Blue Trail to Yellow to Red to purple. It was relatively flat and a total of 1.3 miles. Interesting note, on the yellow Trail, where you go over the bridge and head towards White, if you look immediately to your right, there's a newer model Jeep stuck in the middle of the woods that we cannot figure out how it got there, but it was stuck real good. Check out the photos to see it."
"Well marked trails. Pretty easy, nothing too arduous. Definitely not stroller friendly. Our 4 year olds were able to manage everything. Lots of beautiful moss and rocks! A bit buggy, so recommend some spray. The lot that Google maps took us to was super tiny, so I wouldn't suggest trying to take a big group with multiple vehicles to that location. :)"
"Limited parking but beautiful scenery and nice trails."
"A beautiful hidden gem that I would love to see again after it rains. The trails are well marked and fairly easy. We completed it with our younger children with ease. Parking could be a bit tight if there were more than 3 cars so please be conscientious of that if you happen to be the first car or two there."
"I almost do not want to post a review as I think this trail makes the top five, maybe top three list in Connecticut. Steep terrain on the Blue and Purple trails but the red trail will take toa gentle flat walk around the lake. Great place for birders and nature lovers."
