Millers Pond State Park, located at 344 Foot Hills Road in Durham, Connecticut, is a beautiful park and tourist attraction adjacent to the Cockaponset State Forest. The park's central feature is the 33-acre Millers Pond, known for its unpolluted water sourced from large springs, making it an ideal spot for fishing small mouth bass or trout. Reviews
"This place is super amazing! The lake and the trees with the sky make here so cool! Strongly recommend you can come here while the sun sets"
"A sweet, quiet pond to take the family to. We took our kayaks and went from one side of the pond to the other. It was peaceful. It was tricky to find the entrance. We had to keep driving a quite bit after the GPS said we had arrive. It was worth it. Plenty of parking. You do have wall a little bit to get to the pond and there aren’t many places where you can sit at the edge of the water. They have one potty bathroom in the parking lot."
"A local hiking spot, with lovely trails of varying difficulty and a pond in the middle. When it's not crowded, it is fantastic. But it is often crowded in the weekends. Free parking with CT license plate."
"Awesome place for hiking, walking a dog and fishing as well. In summertime the place get busy most of the time. Parking area is also limited only like 50- 60 cars, but you if you come early you can find good spots."
