"Our favorite dog park. Theres always many dogs to play with. Its always kept nicely. And so big."
"Peoblem is everyone thinks their "big" dog is ok with little dogs .People are always mixing their small dogs in the large dog area. Not cool.Just because your dog is ok with it ,think about others there .Shouldn't be my job to approach others and ask them if their dog is ok with mine .Just follow directions ."
"I went here last weekend or the weekend before with my perfect boy Finn and my friends and their dog Finnley . Although our dogs did have fun. The next day my friends dog Finnley began coughing they asked if my Finn was too but at the time he was not . Then a few days later my Finn started also coughing and or making a sound like he has something stuck in his throat . Finnley was positive for kennel cough once checked at the vet so it’s safe to say my Finn also cought it from Canton Dog Park. Which is a little concerning since I’ve been to quite a few dog parks in the CT area and this is the first time my dog has ever cought something. If your dog is sick please do not bring them to a public park to play."
"This is a nice, quiet park that's well shaded. We've visited a few times and there have been friendly dogs and people. We always assess the energy level of the park before entering. Its also adjacent to the rail trail so it offers a good training opportunity to "ignore" the dogs in the park while walking by."
"Very nice park has a large and small dog area. Mulch is larger chunks than usual but the dogs don't seem to mind it. Park is a good size plenty of room, trees, and even a small covered area. It is next to the rails to trails project which allows a very nice place to walk, just be aware of the bicycles they can come up quickly."
