Reviews
"I'm adding to my previous review and have bumped up stars to 3, which is the average of 1 and 5. After the poor review (thank you Google), I was called by Gary from Wagner Pools. He scheduled an appointment, followed up, was on time, and very helpful. A very good professional. Unfortunately, Joe is the service person and he never called to apologize but it seems from all the feedback that he's the one with poor customer service. Seems like an opportunity for the owner to do some serious coaching. Thank you Gary for your professionalism. Previous review: I disregarded the poor feedback I'd seen because it was old but unfortunately I suffered a similar fate to all of those that were left waiting for Joe. I called the office to see what had happened and they said I'd get a call back. I never did. I asked for them to call to reschedule. They said yes. This was last Wednesday. It's Monday and I'm still waiting. My hope is that instead of a nasty reply, which is what poor reviews seem to have been met with, the person responsible apologizes and fixes their internal issues."
"I don't give reviews but decided I needed to for Wagner Pools. Horrible service and I have to consistently send three emails and phone calls to get a response. Dave, an owner at Wagner, called me to discuss my frustrations. I told him that I would have to write a critical review and his response was that if I did write a review that he would in return write a negative review of my company. I then had to explain that I am a homeowner and Wagner installed my spa at my home and that there is no company involved. In reading Wagner responses to other critical comments, I'm sure they will dismiss this just as they do many others even though my experiences with them have been nothing short of awful. I already found another pool company for future use."
"The company does excellent work, but the communications could be better. We love the pool and the company also maintains it for us. It would have been a perfect experience (5 starts) if they had a better person to interface with clients. The person we dealt with was not always easy to reach and was difficult to communicate with at times. The pool itself is beautiful and we love it. Update: Aug. 2019 - we have really been upset with Wagner due to their lack of communication. They opened the pool this spring on a date when we were out of the country and they did not let us know they were coming. Our housekeeper was staying here with her 3 year old child and she send us a photo fo the open pool. This is unacceptable because if the child had drowned, it would have been a tragedy that was caused by a serious lack of communication. When the pool was opened, a very expensive part was found to need replacement and we were not home to verify the problem or to know how, why or what had happened. We are looking to switch pool companies for the maintenance of our pool."
"Update from their Response: The lies continue. The appointment was confirmed when we made it on the phone the first time - I was never asked to call back or confirm, I did not have to check with my "husband" (my husband works from home, so there is no need to check his schedule). Joe finally called me the day after our scheduled meeting to reschedule - but never discussed any of the items Wagner is claiming in their response. I don't know how a company could continue to be so awful - admit a mistake happened and move on, no need to lie to try to defend themselves. It is inevitable that mistakes will happen - how you handle them is what's important - this company handled them beyond poorly. End of story. Short Story - Head contractor bailed on our consult then tried to claim it was never scheduled. Honestly - just man up and say you mis-scheduled. Would not recommend. Long Story - Spoke with the head contractor on the phone where he stated he would be in our area today for another consult in a neighboring town and asked if 11 or 12 would be good for a consult. I said 11 would be best, I have to leave around 11:30 for a meeting but my husband would be able to stay for the remainder of the meeting. At 11:05 I called his cell and left a message I then called the Company and spoke with Debbie (I think was her name or Desi?) who claimed he had left 45 minutes ago and should be there shortly but that she would try him and get back to me. At 11:17 I called both the head guy and the company line back again - Debbie again said she'd try to get ahold of them and call me back (not sure why she didn't call me back the first time). At 11:35 I called both back AGAIN - no answer from the head contractor and this time Debbie claimed nothing was ever scheduled. I asked why she didn't call me back, she claimed she was 'just about to.' Top it off - NO apologies for wasting my time and never asked to reschedule the consult. Seriously - do you just not want business?"
"Wow, this is one of the least professional companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. A six figure payment, and we receive better customer service at McDonald's. I wouldn't care much about the customer service, if not for the fact that they didn't finish the project, and the work they actually completed was not done to code. We've since gone with another pool company, and they have been fantastic. Stay far away from Wagner Pools if you want to enjoy your Summer."
