"If you want to be made fun of by professors and talk down on go here. I have a disability that I have an accommodation for and my teacher just talks to me as if I’m slow and mad because I get extra time on work. I have been sad for days and they’res nothing I can do about it. All I wanted was for my in person to be switched online since she has not taught not one thing anyways. Not one time has this teacher ever taught and we’re almost towards the end of the semester so it’s no point in talking to her to tell her to teach something. It’s November 6th and the semester ends December 12.. So what are we paying for? I could have took this class online for you not to even teach ONE problem. Thats awful and you would think someone who cares about this would keep up with you just to make sure you’re okay and still here since I expressed how down I was, but I guess not. I guess I’ll just have to take a F for I class that I paid to be TAUGHT in and take my class online to save my feelings. I guess it’s okay to treat disabled like they’re slow and have no chance at life. SMH. It was never like this 5 years ago."
"College there was awesome. The teachers were helpful, the food was good, great classes, awesome library & bookstore. I loved the music classes. Its great how close together the buildings are. Loved playing soccer for coach Calpa & the assistant coach was awesome. My teammates became great friends. Loved going to school here. If i could i’d take more classes here."
"this school is amazingly disorganized. I was interested in the dental assistant program, so I signed up for the info seminar that happens once a month, which you have to put your information down and make sure you alert the professor if you can't make it. Ten other girls including me who took time off of work, had to get dropped off, or whatever else we all did to make time, ended up waiting for over an hour outside of a locked classroom. Waiting for whoever was supposed to show up. no one ever did. not to mention no one ever emailed any of us to say that the class was cancelled, moved, or an emergency happened. Months passed and no one ever stepped up to say what had happened and why we all ended up wasting our time (and gas money) for irresponsible careless people. Because of this I am no longer looking into continuing my education at MCC and will gladly be going anywhere else!"
"Decided to return to college for my Computer Science degree. I planned on paying out of pocket, so I decided to finish as many classes here before transferring to CCSU. Totally worth it. Great experience at the absolute best price. Most of the professors are the same that teach at UCONN and Central and provide the same education at a vastly superior price. If you work hard, they will work hard right along with you. Great student body, too, full of fun and bright students. If you want your education for half to one-quarter the cost, find out what transfers and attend!"
"I can't say much about every aspect of this CC because I didn't experienced them all, but whatever I experienced was definitely good things and I think this is really great Community College. Of course they are some bad professors as everywhere, but I had mostly good ones that really want you to learn and they will help you with it. I wish they have Male basketball team but this is just personal need."
