"I completed my bachelor’s in healthcare administration with SNHU last year and am with another university for my master’s program currently. I must say I miss SNHU! I had the best experience with SNHU that I’m not able to find elsewhere. My full two years with SNHU was a smooth ride due to supportive staff, who were available in minimal time through phone or email. Short hold times on the phone and prompt responses to emails and periodic check-ins from my advisor allowed me to breeze through my course work. I have not had even one negative experience in these two years. Thank you SNHU for exceptional service!!!"
"Please read this review before its deleted. Sometimes they don't answer students' complaints. I'm satisfied with the response rate and classes for the most part but watch out for MBA 540 and courses like it, I had tutors in academic support failing to answer some of my questions about this course. The course is not too well organized, and the lecturer Ms. Carpen gave me my last assignment 4 days late, apparently, they have 7 days to hand back assignments, but it is taking her over 11 days to mark them. This makes it very difficult for students because the assignments are case studies, so you have to have the last assignment to do better on the next one. She is also very unfair when marking the assignments in my opinion, she will give you "zero - not attempted scores" for assignments that took you hours to do."
"Is obtaining education here going to result in a job? I am interested in getting computer science degree, B.S. I did enquire with admissions. The first issue is the low graduation rate. Why is the graduation rate so low? Speaking with admissions, they just wanted to sell me into enrollment- Any program. It is a business, their product is education and selling enrollment makes money. Speaking with admissions I had expressed my interest in transferring credits from CLEP exams, that I would do before enrolling. Instead of supporting and possibly facilitating my chosen path they reduced the product to A.A. instead, probably thinking that was a more viable sale. I don’t want an A.A., that is worthless. Not even for entry level positions, entry level is B.S. minimum. I objected to A.A. so now they are trying to sell me on cyber security certificate. None of the people I’ve talked with that’s competed a non-degree level program has ever gotten a job. Buy the $5K piece of toilet paper. Previously I did compete a $5K non-degree program from a school, the certificate was digital so I couldn’t even qualify it as toilet paper. So really, I’m going to do the same thing again and expect a different result. My advice is to knock on some doors, find out if the degree is going to get your foot in the door. Even the B.S. from here is barely good enough for an entry level job- Compared to candidates from real universities. The job market is competitive. I imagine people realize the reality of their situation some time after enrolled. Thinking about how many people I’ve meet that graduated college and never got a job with the degree they earned, is that going to be me. Then with admissions, the desperation of selling me- The stench of desperation. I in good faith cannot enroll in this school. It is not logical to expect getting a job after completing clown college- Expect to get a clown management job at a clown corporation (like Amazon) supervising druggies and degenerates. That is reality."
"I'm sorry to see that other people have had a poor experience here. That is a reality of existence. If it exists, it is both good and bad. People make mistakes, problems happen. What this school offers is incredible. The availability of their support, the ease of use of their tools and getting enrolled. The online calls experience is the same interface I used at my last school, which was good for me. I think it's a supper simple system. I have a ton of anxiety. I struggle a lot to get through much in life. My experience here has been smooth enough for me. I am made to feel confident. The resources available if you need assistance are there. I have been using the career services too and am already having better luck finding good job listings than I had on normal sites. There are some videos from higher ups in the school I have watched, and I respect their philosophies, I like the idea of being generally educated, and I think this is overall a genuinely good place. Everything in our society is about money, and that won't change until we actually decide to change it. We need a society that is for-progress instead of for-profit. But this school is one of the cheapest around, and that low cost doesn't appear to come by cutting corners. I think, unlike most schools, SNHU's mission is actually to educate. Again, everything revolves around the money, right, but most places jack the prices up because they can. It's just about the money. I don't believe that is the case here. I think they earnestly want to help people become educated, and that's a mission I whole-heartedly support. I didn't have money to spend on school, but I desperately wanted to go. I can't get approved for a private loan. The only reason I was able to go back to school is because federal loans are able to cover my entire cost here. Thank you for being so affordable. May we one day get to a society that values education so highly we freely offer it to others."
"I am very much considering withdrawing from this university I have sent in a Declaration of Educational Intent three different times because the notary marked the wrong box, the last one I sent it was still rejected even after the right box was checked and I am now being sent a new form to fill out all over again. I was dropped from my class because of an overdue balance they did not even tell me I needed to mail in a form until I was well into my first two classes. I sent in a dispute form and have not heard back anything at all. I will be taking my credits I have earned elsewhere."
