Saj Lebanese Cuisine & Hookah Lounge New Jersey

"I came to Saj to try their food and hookah. We ordered the Mixed Grill for 2. It was a lot of food!! Overall, the food was excellent, tasted and cooked well. I asked for my red meats to be cooked at medium/medium well but they came in at well done. The platter was missing the beef shawarma but I mentioned it to the staff and they brought it over quickly. The salad and rice were tasty. The lemonade mint was perfect, not too sweet and not too sour. I enjoyed it. The hookah was clean and smooth and service was consistent. In regards to atmosphere, this place is more of a relaxed, no frills vibe. The place is transforming to being more women friendly. I’d recommend updated furniture and better ventilation. As for parking, it is tight as all of Palestine Way is. Do not park in the parking lot across, it’s heavily monitored and they will tow you immediately."

"Great place to enjoy good food. I took my 87 year old father here. We were treated so kindly from the time walking in. The service, food and vibe was great. I want to personally thank the man who waited on us. His kindness and care touched me. Thank you beyond words."

"Great hookah lounge/restaurant. Very reasonably priced food, which actually tastes great. Comfortable seating arrangement. The hookah coals never had a chance to run out due to the attentive staff. If you need a place to hang out and get some work done, or just spend some time, definetly worth checking it out."

"Late night shawermas when on a road trip are always a good idea, we detoured our way to NC a bit just to make a shawerma stop and as a Lebanese, it was one of the best shawermas I've had in the US compared the ones from other cities"

"I visit this place for Mediterranean food and hookah. They have very delicious appetizers. Try the mix grill and half chicken also the lamb chops were tasty. Their food is always fresh. Service is amazing, nice ambient, and friendly staff. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the parking issue. It’s sometimes hard to find on street parking spot"
