"I tried the zaatar manakish (thyme with sesame seed on a dough) with pomegranate lemonade. Perfect combo! The food tasted fresh and delicious! I also ordered Atayef pancakes to go, these go very well with ricotta cheese (or Ashta!) and sugar syrup or honey. The perfect Lebanese pancakes! Other "pies" I've tried: lahmajyoun (meat pie) and Akawi cheese pie. The lahmajyoun was delicious, freshly baked. However, the Akawi cheese was baked on a pre-made pizza crust, it was ok but not great. I recommend you try the regular cheese pie instead."
"I had a great experience there. They made very tasty Mediterranean pastries. Zaater and Eggs and Meat pastries were amazing. Falafel was exceptional. Classic Arabic songs in the background give a good vibe. Service was as needed. Highly recommended."
"A friend highly recommended this spot. Wow the food was delicious and so traditional, cant wait to go back. I think I had the best Lebne ever here. Waitress spoke to us in Spanish and English since we dont kow Arabic, she was extremely helpful and even recommended a few dishes from the menu. We will be back shortly!!"
"This place was authentic and great. The team was friendly, the food was fresh and served quickly enough to know it was all made to order. There's so many Middle Eastern restaurants to choose from on the street and I'm happy I stumbled into this one."
"I must say, I rarely go to these places on Main Street to eat because they all end up being the same and sometimes the community just loses their touch with their own cultural food. But this place here had me pleasantly surprised. The customer service is good, the environment is clean and friendly. There's a lot of space to sit and enjoy your meal and one nice part about this cafe is that you get to see them cook food in front of you but it's only when you enter the cafe and sit there. They do have a backside to sit and eat. Food quality was fresh, I think halal and food was excellent. The portions can vary for some items. We got the fattoush salad and the mixed grill. That fed two people well. The prices are pretty decent but I think it's well worth eating here. Come and enjoy."
