Reviews of Philip Lauter Park
"Not very clean, large police presence. Playground wasnt great. Did have skatepark, mini biking dirt jumps, and good trails though!"
"Great park ! I was there for a birthday party at the pavilion. Perfect place for kids. It has a splash pad, playground and a little beach on a river. I would definitely go back"
"My daughter had so much fun at the skatepark. All the big guys that were there were so nice and didn't mind her being there."
"May 22, 2021 Visiting Lauter park on my visit to see my brother in Willimantic. Heard a lot of bird, only got pictures of a few. It was getting hot in the afternoon with high humidity. I loved every minute! 2020--Being at Lauter Park brought back childhood memories. The Waim Community Garden at the Park is great."
"We came to visit in April, looking for a place to get some toddler energy out and kill some time. They were cleaning up leaves and I can't speak for summer, but it seems like a really well-maintained park. A few pieces of litter in the stream, but the beach was clean and the paths seemed tended. The climber for 2-5yo is very small, but we had a lot of fun running around and watching sticks float down the river and throwing pebbles in the water. What a great little spot!"
