Reviews
"Really a great place. I've been their to watch kids of my friends play soccer. I've been there for walks well playing Pokemon. The playground seems to always have kids playing."
"My kids love this place they have indoor wildlife exhibits like queen bees, spiders, and Guinea pig! There is big playground outside! It's such a shady with big trees playground! And there's trail to walk and pond to fish!!"
"We truly enjoyed our visit, they have a great park for both small kids and big. We walked to the pond which was so beautiful and had little turtles. Plenty of parking spots, and overall a great place to go with the kids."
"The Ansonia Nature Center is a lovely place to visit, whether alone or with the family. Ally, the executive director, and her staff are very enjoyable to speak with and the center is very enriching to learn many things about nature or to just visit for a walk."
"A lovely place for a walk around a pond. The architecture of the nature center itself is interesting. It's somewhat shaped like a star. Each leg/branch is a tiny museum upon itself. One is dedicated to creatures of the night like owls, another is about native housing, one for small creatures like lizards and tarantulas, and a final one has a turtle, rabbit, and hamster. The playground is great with a beautiful xylophone which even the non-musical can play sweet songs on."
