"Don't ignore the negative reviews and find a different place to take your car. Today I brought my truck to be inspected. When it was done, he told me it would be 35 dollars, took my credit card, charged it, handed it back to me, and then told me never to bring my truck there again. I thought I misheard him so I asked him what he meant, and he said take it somewhere else. No explanation whatsoever. Definitely not someone who wants my business. Plus, I always thought it was odd that even post-mask mandates, even on days when it rains and its cold, they make you wait outside. Save your valuable time and go elsewhere."
"Called in to have vehicle inspected, upon showing up, i was told mechanic is at lunch and will take care of me as soon as he is back. While waiting i was able to see as the desk is outside, the same man that told me to wait, take the key of a female customer and take her car right inside. I asked how much longer ill have to wait and he said im sorry.. itll be another 20 min after just waiting for 30 minutes. You wasted my time. Which is very valuable. I called to talk to the manager. He told me never to come back again after i asked why he took someone else over me. Shame on your business. This is not how you treat A+ community members. Please avoid this business. Shame on you!!"
"Not only does Apex do an excellent job maintaining my car, they are kind and informative. They give me a heads up as to future maintenance and provide a clear detailed write-up of the work they performed. I will definitely keep bringing my car to them."
"Twice in recent weeks we've had minor but semi-urgent vehicle issues. The first time, based on their good local reputation, we called Apex. They told us to drive on over the next morning. They quickly fixed the issue right in the parking lot for just a few bucks. A few weeks later we had another issue, called them again, drove over the next morning, and again they came right out and fixed it in the parking lot. Both times, they were helpful and kind in person and on the phone, and resolved our issues immediately."
"Decided to try Apex Automotive out for the first time, having read the reviews I saw many very positive and some very negative reviews but decided to not judge them by their reviews and rather by their work... Called them up to make an appointment, gave them the complete description of my car, what I knew was going on with it and exactly what I wanted them to do. They gave me an estimate for how much that would cost, I was perfectly okay with it even going as far as to say if it doesn't fix the problem I understand there will be more costs, and booked an appointment 2 weeks ahead. Deliver the car at 8AM so they would have the whole day with the car and was told I would have it back by end of day. First thing I should have heeded was he asked how much I paid for the car, which I gladly told him. Lets just say this is not my nicest car and not a valuable one at that, but I love it all the same. 4pm rolls around and I get a text that my car is ready and to call them back so I do. I am told that they took a quick look and do not want to do any work on my car. I understand when a shop does not want to do work on a car most are kind enough to reject a car at the start, but if you are going to have me wait 2 weeks, then see the car at 8AM and then wait till 4pm to tell me go find someone else we aren't interested, is a huge waste of my time and effort. And then to say, "well even if we did the work you wanted we would end up taking a few days to fix the problem which you wouldn't want to pay" for is an insult assuming based on the value of the car that I would be unable or unwilling to pay for such work. Worst automotive/mechanic experience I have ever had, I would prefer to be ripped off having work done to my car than have my time wasted and myself insulted."
