"Joe is the best! Always does great work and takes care of my concerns. Greatly appreciate it!"
"Excellent customer service. Called early morning had appointment same day. I was in and out under 2 hours. Staff is great!"
"I came here about a year ago with no problems I’ve been to other Monro garage with no problems. When I first walked in, I realized they were on the phone with a customer trying to sell them parts and labor they didn’t need. Just trying to get money from them. Anyways This time I called to buy 4 economy tires installed with an alignment, quoted at about $114 a tire and $134 for the alignment with a $30 installment fee for each tire. It would’ve come out at around $760 after tax, when I got there it was like I had never called to make an appointment. I wanted the economy tires we spoke about and he just kept trying to sell me the more expensive ones. Then gave me a different price on the economy ones after all. QUOTED ME NEARLY $1,000. Then when I called him out he Tried giving me a deal at $650 for 4 tires mounted with no alignment. So I asked if the alignment was $300 and he said no that’s with giving you a deal… I left without giving them my business and I feel like they gave me a lower quote on the phone just to get me in there to try to sell me the more expensive tires wasting part of my day. These are the types of shops you watch out for. Act nice on the phone but will shoot a hole in your pocket for some change."
"Made an appointment online. They pulled my car in within 10 minutes and had an estimate and explanation of the issues 5 minutes later. No pressure to decide how I would move forward with repairs."
"My first time coming here was to get my muffler replaced because it blew a hole suddenly. They were quick to replace it and even took off an oil change charge because they had accidentally done one (I guess they hadn't realized I brought it in for a muffler replacement). It is now a year later and my parents are trying to sell the car. It is pretty rusted up, but there is no excuse for the way the manager (Joe I believe his name is) is treating my parents. The brand new muffler replaced less than a year ago has a hole in the bottom, so they took it in to see how this could have happened and if there was a way to fix it. He claimed that we "must have taken a hammer to it" and that "this car has been abused" so he would not cover it under the warranty. As a college student, why would I purposely try to break a vehicle that needs to get me to school, especially when I just paid over $400 to fix the muffler almost a year ago?? All we wanted was to get this vehicle repaired so we could sell it. Customer service reached out to the district manager who said "Joe told us that he would replace the muffler at no charge and we would only have to pay for labor, but that the customers (us) didn't want that" What Joe had told the DM was a blatant lie so my parents requested that the DM call them back so that this could be cleared up. Customer service said we could leave the car at Monro until the problem was resolved. The next day, we called Joe again since we had not heard from the DM yet to explain what customer service had told us. He said "You must have heard the DM wrong. I will only knock off $50 to replace it." He also threatened to charge my parents storage fees (going back to the day it was brought in). We ended up having to pick up the car and will call customer service back on Monday. I don't understand what has changed since the last time I visited Monro, but this service is the worst my family has ever experienced and want to caution others from going to this location. We are not people to leave reviews, but like I mentioned before this is the WORST experience I've ever had when getting a car repaired."
