"I contacted North Fork Carpentry in late Spring 2021 about a large 30 y-old cedar deck on the back of our North Fork home that had rot/decay problems in a number of locations. Matt Widener arrived on-time, inspected the job, clearly communicated the scope of the required work, and delivered a fair estimate a few days later. The job was executed by Matt and Hank Peganoff on-schedule in a highly professional manner. Attention to detail, joinery, etc. and thoroughness were all in the outstanding category. Moreover, Matt creatively solved a number of problems in ways that led to cost savings and he communicated about the various decisions that impacted the project clearly and effectively. The completed project was clean and complete. Matt and Hank are long-time local craftsmen who know what they are doing and take pride in their work. It was a pleasure working with them. "These guys are fantastic. We wanted to design and install a mid-century privacy screen between two posts on our front porch. Sounds simple but it was a very complex piece of architectural work. Michael worked with us on the design and he did several to-scale drawings to get the screen exactly the way we wanted it. His brother Matt then took over building the screen with the most intense craftsmanship I have ever seen. He perfectly installed the wooden screen and finished off the porch posts creating architectural detail that altered the entire look of the house. Both men were extremely professional, friendly and totally committed to providing top level service and product.
